Post-Construction / Renovation Cleaning in Midwood, Brooklyn

Post-Construction / Renovation Cleaning for Midwood Homes

Renovations in Midwood tend to be big ones done once: a full kitchen or two, a second-floor extension, a basement finished into a real apartment. The dust from that scale of work reaches every room in a large house and keeps resettling for days, and it also gets outside — onto the side entry, the porch, the path to the driveway where the trades walked in and out. We clean in passes, top-down through every floor with the floors done last each time, and we include the entries so the dust doesn't get tracked straight back in.

The residue gets treated surface by surface: adhesive from protective film lifted from new counters and appliances with a product suited to the material, paint splatter removed from floors and fixtures, caulk smears and grout haze cleared from new tile with non-abrasives. New cabinetry is cleaned inside before anything goes in; vents, light fixtures and switch plates cleared; window tracks and sills detailed; walls and baseboards wiped. The new kitchens and bathrooms get a full sanitizing clean to finish, and with children coming home we wipe every handle, switch and rail at their height.

For a whole-house project we send a team of three so it's done in one day, scheduled to the day after the last trade leaves and moved if the work slips. Pricing is a flat figure from photos or a short video of the finished space, confirmed on a quick call, and identical to what we'd quote in Ditmas Park. Anything missed is re-cleaned free within 24 hours, including another pass if dust settles beyond a light film.
